How does the A/C evacuation and recharge work?
System diagnosis
We begin by checking the A/C system to identify any leaks, abnormal pressure, or other
Evacuation of old refrigerant
We use a specialized machine to completely remove the existing refrigerant gas. This step
is essential to eliminate impurities and residue from the system.
Vacuum application
A vacuum is applied for at least 20 to 30 minutes to eliminate all moisture and trapped air
in the A/C lines. This prevents internal corrosion and future failures.
Leak detection
We verify if the system maintains the vacuum. If there’s a pressure loss, we inspect for potential leaks before proceeding.
Refrigerant recharge
Once the system is clean and sealed, we recharge it with the exact amount of refrigerant according to the manufacturer’s specifications. UV dye may also be added to help detect
future leaks, along with special oil for the compressor.
Final test
We turn on the A/C and check the pressure, airflow, and temperature. We ensure the system is cooling properly and working efficiently.
